Primary Care and Outpatient Business Analyst Role
Classification: Contract
Contract Length: 12-months with chance of extension
CereCore is seeking a skilled Primary Care and Outpatient Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will work closely with our Clinical Leads and Subject Matter Experts to perform technical analysis of business and end-user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document requirements for business solutions within primary care and outpatient settings.
- Evaluate current departmental procedures/processes and make recommendations for proposing and/or re-engineering to best utilize capabilities of business systems and enhance departmental productivity, performance, and accuracy.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to educate self and then confidently share expertise with clinical and administrative staff on best practices and documentation requirements to ensure the EHR meets the needs of our stakeholders.
- Analyze data, trends, specifications, and processes across the primary care and outpatient facilities within HCA.
- Work with HCA EHR Primary Care and Outpatient Technical Lead, SMEs, and teams across sites to verify findings and ensure proposed solutions are fit for purpose, are patient-centric, and embed best practices with the patient at the core of our business.
- Coordinate implementation of departmental systems, including completion of workflow analysis and establishment of benchmarks.
- Work with Programme Primary Care Ambulatory workstream and other workstreams to advance planning, designing, and building of exemplary functionality of the new EHR system. Participate in the planning, testing, and validation of pathways before safe transfer of data to the live EHR system.
Requirements:
- Certification or evidence of relevant experience in implementing technological change and/or business analysis.
- Previous experience in scoping or mapping requirements for digital health implementation projects.
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in key applications, such as Visio, Excel, and MS Teams.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insight for process improvement.
- Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced agile team environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Clinical and related pathways analysis and redesign.
- Previous experience in Electronic Health Record implementation projects in a business analyst, technological build, or operational capacity.
- Front-facing stakeholder management skills and exposure to Project Agile environments.
