About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Air Import Operator to join our new Freight Division at London Heathrow. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our journey and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proven air import and/or air export experience in air freight
  • Proficient in export and/or import customs clearance entry preparation and submission
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a professional telephone manner
  • Ability to execute job activities in accordance with DP World's global freight forwarding operating process
  • Compliance with internal and external governance
  • Assist with account start-up, liaison with sales, and monitor/audit files for compliance
  • Provide clients with complete flight details and resolve shipment irregularities
  • Liaise with airlines to procure the best possible solutions
  • Prepare and execute customer quotations in a timely manner
  • Network with colleagues to ensure proper support
  • Maintain customer reports as required
Requirements
  • GCSE Level or above
  • At least 3 years of relevant and recent experience in freight forwarding air operations and customer service
  • Freight forwarding experience is mandatory
