Position Overview

NHS England's National School of Healthcare Science is seeking an Assessment Coordination Specialist to play a crucial role within the End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO). This organization is responsible for conducting the final evaluations of apprentices pursuing healthcare science qualifications across England. This position is vital in maintaining the high standards of assessment that the EPAO is known for.

Key Responsibilities

The Assessment Coordination Specialist will be instrumental in the administration, management, and execution of end-point assessments. Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the daily operations of assessment processes.
  • Collaborating closely with the EPA management team and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and awarding body standards for exam administration.
  • Providing comprehensive project administration support, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills.
  • Leading and supervising the workload of team members, ensuring tasks are completed with precision.

Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • A solid understanding of administrative procedures and project management.
  • Experience in senior administrative roles, particularly in managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with assessment methodologies.
