About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to join our UK Impact Assessment department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating statutory and non-statutory environmental assessment processes for major development proposals across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Environmental Baseline Data Collection and Analysis: Scoping and coordination of environmental baseline data collection, interpretation of data, and collaboration with colleagues and co-professionals to communicate environmental and sustainability constraints and opportunities for development.
  • Relationship Building: Developing relationships with Ramboll colleagues, supply chain partners, and clients to drive sustainable change through all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Reporting and Data Management: Report writing, efficient peer review of reporting, and coordination of management of spatial data, including preparation of figures.
  • Project Delivery: Coordination and management of key technical and commercial aspects of project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Advising clients on strategy for stakeholder engagement and public consultation, and participating in both.

About You

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, or a related environmental discipline. Prior experience in EIA coordination on complex projects is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are also required.
