We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for setting up and managing a brand new Children's Residential home in Walthamstow.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of a busy residential service for children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties. The home is well situated in Walthamstow, offering easy access to amenities and activities for the young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a staff team within the service
- Ensure the staff and young people are supported at all times
- Ensure the service offers therapeutic care and support
- Ensure the service is safe and efficient
- Manage staffing and recruitment
- Ensure the service meets Ofsted standards
Requirements:
- NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services)
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services
- Experience working within a Deputy or Children's Home Registered Manager's position
- Experience in a residential children's home environment
What We Offer:
Salary: up to £55k Basic plus Bonus
Location: Walthamstow
Bonus Scheme: To be discussed at interview
Hours: Full time
Contract Type: Permanent
