Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Coordinator to join our team at Assystem. As a Site Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate effective communication and collaboration between contractors and clients, particularly in the assessment of site requests.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Site Coordination: Ensure seamless working partnerships and communication between contractors and clients, particularly in the assessment of site requests.
  • FCR/NCR Management: Review the content of Field Change Requests (FCRs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) issued by the construction team, focusing on characterization, remediation, and delegation.
  • Communication and Liaison: Establish regular contact with the construction team to review trends in FCRs/NCRs, propose mitigation strategies, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for FCR/NCR throughput.
  • Technical Support: Provide proactive technical support and expertise to close open points and technical queries raised by the construction contractor.

Requirements:

  • Essential Knowledge:
    • Proven experience working in an equivalent or related role in the construction industry.
    • Meticulous and rigorous approach to engineering to achieve high professional standards.
    • Excellent oral communication skills to ensure smooth communication between stakeholders.
    • Excellent written communication skills to ensure clear characterization of FCRs/NCRs.
    • Strong people leadership skills to coordinate efficient delivery of the construction team.
    • Ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
    • Ability to work autonomously but with awareness of own limitations.
  • Desirable Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
    • Degree in a related engineering field.
    • Chartered Engineer with a relevant engineering institute.
    • Detailed understanding of PWR design and experience in PWR operations.
    • Working knowledge of French language an advantage.
    • Good knowledge of CDM Regulations.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Problem-solving and finding solutions.
    • Ability to communicate complex topics in a simple and understandable way to a range of stakeholders.
    • Ability to analyze large amounts of data from various sources and take into consideration the viewpoints of numerous stakeholders.
    • Ability to influence a broad mix of stakeholders.
    • Persistence and resilience.
