Job Title: Technical Waste Assessor

Location: Prescot

Hours: 40 hours per week

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Waste Assessor to join our team at CSG. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of waste across our sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classify and assess waste to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and site procedures.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of waste classification and assessment.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer services teams to ensure seamless waste management processes.
  • Provide expert advice on waste treatment and processing options.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant waste management licenses and permits.

Requirements:

  • Degree or HNC in chemistry or a related field.
  • Knowledge of waste-related legislation, including Hazardous Waste Regulations, PPC, and ADR.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar systems.
