We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Waste Assessor to join our team at CSG. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate classification and assessment of waste, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Classify and assess waste to ensure accurate and compliant disposal and transportation.
  2. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of waste-related legislation, including Hazardous Waste Regulations, PPC, and ADR.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  4. Provide expert advice on waste management and sustainability practices to support the company's environmental goals.
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of waste management policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Degree or HNC in chemistry or a related field.
  • Proven experience in waste management and classification.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
