Role Overview:

CSG is seeking a highly skilled Technical Waste Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate classification and assessment of waste, ensuring compliance with site permits and waste management licenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classify and assess waste to ensure accurate quoting, transport, and acceptance.
  • Ensure compliance with site permits and waste management licenses.
  • Liaise with Central Customer Services, Sales, and Operational functions to ensure smooth operation.
  • Advise on transport, labeling, and consignment note requirements.
  • Assist with the maintenance and control of site management systems.

Requirements:

  • Degree or HNC in chemistry.
  • Knowledge of waste-related legislation, including Hazardous Waste Regulations, PPC, and ADR.
  • Understanding of how to classify hazardous waste for disposal and transport.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Committed, flexible, and pragmatic team player.
