About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Priory Group. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing a service to three hospitals, working with adults with complex needs, including mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and autism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for speech and language therapy services, ensuring effective application and communication.
  • Receive and respond promptly to referrals, undertaking assessments to identify and prioritize patient needs, and planning and delivering relevant interventions on an individual or group basis.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, detailing each patient's rehabilitation and progression.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient management of yourself and your workload.
  • Maintain and develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring clinical practice is in line with policies, procedures, and professional codes.
  • Comply with statutory regulations and quality standards.
  • Contribute to business growth by actively promoting Priory therapy services in line with local business plans.
  • Maintain effective communication links with patients, relatives, carers, and commissioners, as necessary, throughout the patient's recovery and rehabilitation.
