Experienced MET Technician Wanted

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars. As a key member of our bodyshop team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks, including:
- Vehicle Repair and Maintenance: You will be responsible for carrying out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, ensuring that vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition.
- Dismantling and Reassembly: You will dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop and reassemble them with new parts as required.
- Inspections and Diagnostic Work: You will carry out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work to identify and repair any issues with vehicles.
- Parts Ordering: You will be responsible for ordering replacement parts as needed.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced MET Technician who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be able to:
- Plan and Prioritize Work: You will need to plan your workload effectively to ensure that vehicles are ready to agreed timescales.
- Work Safely and Efficiently: You will need to work skillfully and safely under pressure, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines.
- Meet Quality Standards: You will need to carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications and to a high standard, with customer satisfaction in mind.
- Work as Part of a Team: You will need to work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Be Flexible: You will need to be flexible in your approach and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience as a MET in a bodyshop environment or be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician looking to make a change to work in a bodyshop. You will also need to be able to ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines and that you are able to work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
