About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our brand-new team in Witham. As a key member of our bodyshop team, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated jobs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out all necessary mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated jobs.
  • Dismantle vehicles ready for the panel shop.
  • Carry out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
  • Order replacement parts.
  • Re-assemble the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition.
About You

We are looking for a skilled MET Technician who can work effectively as part of a team and on their own initiative with minimal supervision. You must be able to plan your workload effectively, work skillfully and safely under pressure, and carry out work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines, including wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.

Candidates must have experience as a MET in a Bodyshop environment or we can also consider Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technicians who are looking for a change to work in a body shop.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, up to £45,000 + time saved bonus - OTE 55 - 60K, and a full-time, permanent position. You will also have the opportunity to work in a brand-new team and be part of an exciting new venture.
