Position Summary:
As the Operational Resilience Manager, your primary responsibility will be to design, execute, and uphold a comprehensive operational resilience framework. This framework is essential for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks that could hinder the organization’s ability to provide essential services. Core Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute an operational resilience framework that aligns with industry standards and regulatory mandates.

- Perform scenario analyses and stress testing exercises to assess the organization's resilience against various disruptive incidents and their potential effects.
- Conduct business impact assessments (BIA) to evaluate the potential repercussions of operational interruptions on critical business functions, processes, and stakeholders.
- Devise and implement resilience strategies, contingency plans, and response protocols to mitigate the effects of disruptions and ensure the continuity of essential operations.
- Coordinate and facilitate resilience testing and exercise initiatives, including tabletop exercises, simulations, and crisis scenarios, to validate response strategies and enhance preparedness.
- Deliver training and awareness sessions to staff on operational resilience principles, procedures, and their respective roles and responsibilities.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the organization’s resilience capabilities and track advancements toward resilience goals.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management and relevant stakeholders to communicate resilience status, challenges, and recommendations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in operational resilience, business continuity planning, or risk management within a complex organization or sector.
- In-depth understanding of resilience frameworks, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., ISO 22301).
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or Emergency Management is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to assess and manage intricate risks and challenges.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Robust project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in resilience planning tools, software, and technologies.
