Job Summary:

Pareto Facilities Management is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Cleaning Duties: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Cleaning Washrooms: Ensure washrooms are clean, well-stocked, and meet health and safety standards.
  • Cleaning Floors: Use mops, vacuum cleaners, and floor cleaners to maintain clean and polished floors.
  • Task Management: Carry out cleaning tasks as required by the contract specification and supervisor, with agreed timescales.
  • Dusting and Tidying: Dust and tidy assigned areas to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Punctuality and Attendance: Be punctual and attend for duty as requested, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Chemical and Cleaning Product Handling: Ensure safe handling and storage of chemical and cleaning products.
  • Quality Standards: Achieve the highest standard of work, with a positive team spirit, to continuously develop and improve quality standards.
  • Client and Manager Expectations: Meet managers', clients', and company expectations, responding to any reasonable request.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure products, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and stored.
  • Problem-Solving: Use initiative to resolve problems where appropriate, ensuring a smooth operation.
  • Appearance and Conduct: Ensure appearance and conduct comply with company expectations, wearing appropriate clothing/PPE at all times.
  • Issue Reporting: Communicate any unresolved cleaning issues to ensure prompt resolution.
