Kitchen Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and caring Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Kingfisher Nursing Home, part of Westgate Healthcare. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, while providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment
- Collect and distribute crockery and utensils, ensuring efficient service
- Support the Head Cook and Home Manager in maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen operation
About You:
We are looking for an individual who shares our values of compassion, care, and respect for others. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively in a team. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
