Contract Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team at Elvet Recruitment Limited. As a Contract Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing the procedural aspects of contracts during the delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the flow of required information, submitting notices, valuations, and payment evaluations, as well as handling claims for extra payment and extended timescales.
  • Ensure contracts are executed in accordance with corporate policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular contract reviews to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Maintain an organized system of physical and digital records for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
  • Liaise between internal teams and external parties to ensure clear communication and successful project execution.
  • Issue instructions to project teams based on contractual agreements.
  • Monitor budget adjustments and authorize payments and invoices as outlined in the contract.
Requirements:
  • A relevant Quantity Surveying/Project Management or Building Surveying degree.
  • Prior experience as either a Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager, Contracts Administrator, or Employers Agent.
  • Pre & post contract experience.
  • Experience in the Industrial, logistics, or residential sectors.
  • Experience in the JCT form of contract.
  • Able to work effectively remotely.
