About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our team in supporting adults with complex social needs. As a Social Worker, you will work with individuals and their families to assess their needs, develop and implement care plans, and provide support to enable them to live independently.

You will work within statutory legal frameworks, sharing ideas and best practice with a multi-disciplinary team. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing specialist advice and guidance to support vulnerable adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of adults with complex social needs and develop care plans to support them.
  • Work with individuals and their families to provide support and guidance to enable them to live independently.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to share ideas and best practice.
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance to support vulnerable adults.
  • Travel to various locations in Essex to meet with clients and partners.
Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • Significant experience of social work, modelling good practice and providing advice and guidance in complex situations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current legislation, regulations, and guidance.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with partner agencies and the local community.
  • Experience of chairing meetings involving clients, family members, carers, and other multi-agency professionals.
