Position Overview
Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust is actively seeking a dedicated Hospital Cleaning Operative. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness within our healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute thorough cleaning tasks in both clinical and non-clinical environments, adhering to established protocols and national standards.
- Perform a variety of cleaning duties, including:
- General and isolation cleaning.
- High and low dusting.
- Wet and dry mopping.
- Sanitizing restrooms and wash areas.
- Disposing of clinical and general waste appropriately.
- Vacuuming and floor maintenance.
- Utilizing cleaning machinery safely and effectively.
- Carpet cleaning and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while using cleaning agents and equipment.
- Maintain safety protocols by using appropriate signage during cleaning activities.
Training and Development
Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate to ensure proficiency in all cleaning procedures and safety measures.
