We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant. As a key member of our Estates and Facilities department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our hospital facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out general cleaning duties, including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming, to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital.
- Perform isolation cleaning and high-level dusting to prevent the spread of infection and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Operate cleaning equipment and machinery, including scrubbing and buffing floors, and using chemicals and cleaning agents responsibly.
- Empty clinical and general waste bins and place bags in designated areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Provide support to terminal cleans and infection cleans, adhering to infection control procedures and protocols.
- Remove and clean up uncontained body fluid spillages, following Trust policy and national cleaning standards.
- Undertake Bioquell Q50-HPV decontamination duties, adhering to all methods and responsibilities.
- Adopt a flexible approach when undertaking domestic duties, responding to changing priorities and needs.
