About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Pensions Officer to join our team at Gloucestershire County Council. As a key member of our pensions team, you will play a crucial role in delivering a comprehensive and effective service to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the introduction and maintenance of new systems, including scheme member and employer portals, to ensure high-quality data and efficient processes.
  • Support data improvement initiatives and projects, including data cleansing and maintenance, to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  • Write and run systems reports using tools such as Tableau to provide insights and analysis.
  • Support employers with onboarding onto new systems, such as i-Connect, to ensure a smooth transition.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a data or systems-focused role, ideally in pensions, with a strong understanding of data management and analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead on or be part of data cleansing and maintenance projects, with experience of writing and running systems reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify solutions.
