We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our national payroll team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing client payrolls, providing a first-class payroll bureau service, and ensuring compliance with UK payroll and pension legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process client payrolls from start to finish, including auto-enrolment
- Use payroll software efficiently, including import/exports and report writing
- Apply knowledge of UK payroll and pension legislation to ensure client compliance
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external contacts
- Be a trusted advisor for clients in your portfolio
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar payroll position, preferably in an outsourced payroll environment
- Good IT skills, with experience using Microsoft suite, including Excel and Outlook
- Good numeracy skills, with a basic payroll test conducted at interview
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- A self-starter able to organise and prioritise workload, confident in seeking support when needed
