As a Payroll Specialist at Dalkia, you will be responsible for providing a shared payroll and benefit service to all business units and the Group centre teams.

The Central Payroll Team is responsible for delivering a high-quality, timely, and compliant service for pay and benefits to the Dalkia UK Group. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure the smooth running of payroll data between internal and external parties.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of weekly and/or monthly payroll calculations and transactions.
  • Providing a high level of payroll knowledge on statutory and company policies, procedures, and Group Standards.
  • Administering, coordinating, and managing the payroll function via our outsourced Payroll Bureau service provider.
  • Preparing and inputting data for monthly and weekly payroll in line with payroll deadlines.
  • Ensuring employee costs are charged accurately to the right contracts/functions.
  • Supporting the Payroll Manager with the weekly and monthly end-to-end payroll processes, including reconciliations of payroll reports prior to BACs transmission.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Processing timesheets, pay rates, and welfare benefits for all contractors, permanent full-time, part-time, and temporary employees.
  • Supporting the Payroll Manager with Tax Year End activities, including P60s and P11Ds.
  • Providing support for payroll system testing as and when required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including tax, pension, and statutory payments.
  • Experience in delivering end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Knowledge and experience of Payroll systems (preferred).
