We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team at People Group Limited. As a key member of our Payroll and Benefits Team, you will be responsible for timely and accurate transactional processing of data and supporting the business with basic transactional pay and benefit queries.
Key Responsibilities- Advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools is essential for this role. You may require vocational or technical education to achieve this level of expertise.
- You should be proficient in key responsibilities for Payroll and Benefits (S4).
- In non-routine situations, you will work under limited supervision.
- Deal with Tier 2 queries within the set SLAs.
- Maintain accurate and authorised bank payments promptly.
- Ensure correct records are maintained for payroll-related records including tax, National Insurance, Social Contributions, Pensions, Absences, and any other relevant payments or deductions.
- Process manual calculations if required.
- Process attachment of earnings orders or other statutory deductions as per country legislation.
- Support and champion new ways of working.
- Process payrolls and benefits accurately and on time.
- Liaise with colleagues on pay and benefits queries.
- Provide general administrative support.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
