Finance Controller

Pembrook Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller to join our client's team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present accurate monthly Management Accounts, providing detailed analysis and commentary.
  • Provide investigative and analytical support across the business, evaluating profit optimisation opportunities.
  • Ensure the on-going reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, valuing assets appropriately and recording liabilities accurately.
  • Submit Manufacturer Composite Data to enable comparison with other businesses within the industry.
  • Enforce debtor and creditor controls to maintain cash flow and ensure business operations are not compromised.
  • Review and approve all payments, ensuring they are fully documented and authorised in accordance with Hartwell Limits of Authority.
  • Conduct vehicle deal file audits to ensure compliance with FCA regulations and manufacturer MPS support requirements.
  • Provide timely and detailed data to HO for year-end audit purposes.
  • Compile and validate the annual budget submission.
  • Collate and submit payroll requirements to HO, meeting monthly deadlines.
  • Assist managers and minute-take in disciplinary procedures, preparing related documents.
  • Manage the Finance and Vehicle Admin teams, overseeing associated processes.
  • Perform various Ad Hoc duties to support the dealership's management team.
  • Uphold and enforce Hartwell policies and procedures, ensuring consistency across all sites.
