Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to assume the role of Assistant General Manager at Mark House Ltd, a leading hospitality company. The ideal candidate will assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and managing a team of staff members.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in all aspects of venue operations, including:

  • Supervising and leading a team of employees, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Assisting in managing budgets, financial plans, and inventory control
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Overseeing food production, food safety, and culinary activities
  • Assisting with bartending duties and beverage service
  • Helping with food preparation and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained

Requirements and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively
  • Knowledge of culinary practices, including cooking techniques and food safety regulations
  • Experience in bartending and beverage service is advantageous
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service

Working Conditions

The role will involve working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
