Co-Founder in Residence, Immune-Related Therapeutics for Paediatric Cancer

Deep Science Ventures is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Co-Founder in Residence to join our team in the fight against paediatric cancer. As a key member of our venture creation programme, you will work closely with our team of experts to develop innovative solutions for this devastating disease.

In the pharmaceutical sector, we are tackling the challenges of paediatric cancer by harnessing the unique features of childhood tumours.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead innovative therapeutic solutions for paediatric cancer
- Collaborate with our team of experts to design and implement effective strategies for tackling paediatric cancer
- Work closely with industry partners and stakeholders to advance our mission
- Contribute to the development of our venture creation process and methodology
Requirements
- PhD and/or MD background in immunology, vaccinology, virology, or a related field
- Expertise in vaccinology and the stimulation of immune response
- (Pre)clinical drug or vaccine development in immunology, infectious disease, or cancer
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
What We Offer
- Up to £250k in investment to develop early proof-of-concept data
- Guaranteed income of £4,166 per month paid as a consultancy fee
- Majority equity stake in the new company for you and your co-founders
- Continuous post-spinout support, including fundraising, commercial partnerships, recruitment, and team-building
