At Teaching Personnel, we are in search of dedicated numeracy educators to assist students outside of traditional educational settings. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Numeracy Tutor who can provide support to learners requiring extra guidance and intervention. You will have the chance to teach numeracy to students in care, those who are underperforming, and more.

Key Responsibilities of the Numeracy Tutor Position:

  • Delivering exceptional numeracy tutoring sessions to secondary school students.
  • Offering tailored support and assistance to students, addressing their individual learning requirements.
  • Designing engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Tracking student progress and delivering constructive feedback through our educational platform.

Teaching Personnel is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of children. We conduct thorough safeguarding checks on all personnel in line with statutory guidance. This may include an online search as part of our due diligence for shortlisted candidates. We provide all registered candidates with complimentary training in child protection and duty of care.

All candidates must have or be willing to obtain a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, with full support provided.

All quoted pay rates include statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.
