Hybrid Working Available: Yes

As the Business and Contracts Manager, you will oversee and be responsible for the management of the Council Contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure value for money and support the provision of high-quality services. This includes the delivery of complex contract management, and the implementation, development, and progression of both service level agreements and joint working protocols (JWPs), whilst monitoring performance and quality metrics and triangulating strategic delivery plans as part of the annual planning round and contract renewal process.

This role will involve the development of business cases and proposals to secure new income opportunities, research grants, and other collaborations with partner organisations and support the management of corporate contracts, working closely with procurement and finance teams within both the Trust and the Council.

A further qualification in accounting, law, or management would be an advantage. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a contractual role involving negotiations/monitoring with commissioners/providers.

Detailed knowledge of public Contracting and Commissioning processes, knowledge of current and frequently changing contract law, proven contract management skills, evidence of continued professional development, experience of working on, developing, or implementing business cases, bids, and equivalent documents.
