Job Title: Commercial and Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Contract Manager to join our Commercial Services team at Yorkshire Water. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all financial and contractual aspects of contracted works on our Programme Delivery sub-programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project budgets and negotiate with Contract Partners and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and evaluate financial risks
  • Oversee the financial aspects of contracts and ensure financial success
  • Support the Manager of Commercial in developing and implementing commercial strategies and identifying new commercial opportunities
  • Work closely with the Capital Delivery Programme Manager to optimise contract performance and deliver contracts within budget and on schedule
Requirements:
  • Commercial acumen and commercial advisory expertise
  • Extensive commercial knowledge of allocation of risks and liabilities
  • Extensive knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts
  • More than 10 years commercial experience
  • Professional qualification, or working to a professional qualification associated with the role
