Job Title: Positive Behaviour Support Worker

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Positive Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at Home Group. As a Positive Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred and strengths-based support to our customers with complex needs, including autism and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualised support to customers with complex needs, promoting independence and social inclusion through person-centred approaches.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and clinical teams to develop and implement support plans that meet the unique needs of each customer.
  • Monitor and report on customer progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address any challenges.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a complex care setting, with a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support principles and practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clinical teams to develop and implement support plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
