We are seeking a highly skilled Income Specialist to join our team at One Manchester. As an Income Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering a high-quality income management service to our customers, maximising income collection and managing cases through the court process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a designated group of properties through the income collection process, ensuring timely and efficient collection of rent and other income.
  • Assist customers in setting up repayment arrangements and take responsibility for the management of court escalated arrears.
  • Deliver a high-quality customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and procedures, ensuring compliance with pre-action protocols and court procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing support and guidance to help them manage their finances.

Requirements:

  • Experience of income collection, debt recovery, and credit control.
  • Proven track record of exceeding KPIs and providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and procedures, including pre-action protocols and court procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems, including property management software.
  • Clean driving licence.
