Support Worker Opportunity in Builth Wells

We are seeking caring and passionate individuals to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs in Builth Wells.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing specialist support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives. Your role will involve encouraging independence, supporting individuals to make their own choices, and ensuring their safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Encourage independence and support individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensure the safety of service users.
  • Follow care plans for each individual.
  • Take service users out into the community.
  • Participate in arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements
  • No experience is required.
  • Must be resilient.
  • Drivers essential due to location.
  • Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary: £26,477 - £26,926 (including sleeps) + plenty of overtime available.
  • Full-time hours per week + 1 sleep per week.
  • Permanent contract.
  • A variety of shifts, including optional sleeps and weekends.
  • Location: Builth Wells.
