We are seeking a caring and passionate Support Worker to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs in Builth Wells.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices, ensuring their safety, and following care plans for each individual.

You will also take service users out into the community, participate in arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips, and provide varying levels of personal care.

Requirements
  • No experience is required, but you must be resilient and a driver due to the location.
  • You must be happy to do personal care and provide the best specialist support to the people within this service.
What We Offer
  • A full-time permanent job with a salary of £26,477 - £26,926 (including sleeps) + plenty of overtime available.
  • A variety of shifts, including optional sleeps, including weekends.
  • Opportunities for genuine progression and professional qualifications - fully funded.
  • DBS & Social Care Wales Registration paid for.
  • Auto-enrolment Pension Scheme and a range of bespoke training to equip staff with the skills needed to work with people with various complex needs.
