About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Early Years Educator to join our team at the Early Years Alliance. As a flexible creche worker, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality childcare services across Leicestershire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engaging play and learning experiences for young children in various settings and venues.
  • Develop an understanding of the daily routines and security procedures of the service and venues, ensuring the safe arrival and departure of children.
  • Contribute to a high level of care that enhances children's health, safety, and well-being, maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times.
  • Participate in observations to support children's development and well-being, and communicate effectively with parents to exchange information.
  • Adhere to the Alliance's operational policies and procedures at all times.
Essential Criteria
  • A minimum of a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification.
  • Relevant recent working experience with young children to a high standard.
  • A sufficient understanding and use of English to ensure the well-being of children in their care.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with professional colleagues and parents/carers.
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-written reports and correspondence in English.
  • A commitment to equal opportunities and awareness of the harmful impact of discriminatory experiences on children.
