Job Title: Flexible Creche Early Years Educator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team of flexible workers across Leicestershire. As a key member of our crèche team, you will work in partnership with Leicestershire County Council to provide high-quality care and education for young children.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide engaging and inclusive play and learning experiences for children in a range of settings and venues.
  • Develop an understanding of the duties and routines of the day, ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.
  • Contribute to observations and reports to enhance children's development and well-being, and liaise with parents to exchange information.
  • Implement the Alliance's operational policies and procedures at all times.
Essential Criteria:
  • A minimum of a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification.
  • Relevant recent working experience with young children to a high standard.
  • A sufficient understanding and use of English to ensure the well-being of children in their care.
  • Ability to communicate with professional colleagues and with parents and carers.
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-written reports and correspondence in English.
