Job Title: Grant Making and Operations Coordinator

The Adsum Foundation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Grant Making and Operations Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and facilitate the delivery of grant making activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with ensuring efficient processes are in place for grant payments, partner and operational records, and reports.
  • Support the Operations Manager with grant making activities, including project management, stakeholder engagement, and communications.
  • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, responding to emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the due diligence process of prospective grant partners and the receipt and collation of grant applications and monitoring reports.
  • Support the Operations Manager with the review of project outcomes and propose, agree, and implement changes as necessary.
  • Update the website, social media platforms, and promotional materials to ensure accurate and timely information is available to stakeholders.
  • Attend and participate in internal and external meetings as required, representing the foundation as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years administrative experience.
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent.
  • Good numeracy, oral, and written communication skills.
  • IT literate with demonstrable experience of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Sound planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to report with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Desirable:
  • Experience in the charity/third sector, including paid, placement, or voluntary.
  • Experience or interest in developing skills in using various software platforms, relevant examples for this role include Facebook, Canva, WordPress, and Arc GIS.
  • Experience or interest in developing skills in Data Protection Officer Responsibilities.
