Theatre Scrub Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join our ophthalmology theatre team at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional perioperative care and support to patients undergoing complex eye surgeries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist anaesthetists and surgeons during ophthalmic procedures
  • Prepare and maintain operating theatre equipment and supplies
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to the anaesthetist or surgeon
  • Collaborate with the theatre team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
