About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Theatre Practitioner to join our team in the General Theatres department at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the effective day-to-day operation of our theatres.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing skilled assistance to medical staff during the administration, maintenance, and termination of general regional or local anaesthetics.
- Undertaking scrubbing and circulating duties to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Providing skilled care in recovery to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Requirements
- RGN or RODP registration with the relevant professional body.
- Experience in theatre, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and clinical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
