Accounts Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team at Recruitment Helpline Ltd. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our business, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:- Inputting bills onto our accounting software and posting to SAGE accounts
- Customer Invoicing and managing customer payments
- Assisting with bank reconciliation and ensuring all transactions are on the system
- Employee one-off expenses and Barclaycard credit card receipts
- Creating contract numbers, updating customer files, and relevant Excel sheets
- Answering telephone calls and providing excellent customer service
- Assisting with year-end stock control and other financial tasks as required
- Experience with Sage accounting software (or equivalent)
- AAT Level 2 or equivalent experience
- General accountancy skills and knowledge
- Good communication skills, including excellent telephone manner
- Confidence in speaking to customers and suppliers
- Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel
