About the Role:

A leading client-side organisation with a diverse and extensive property portfolio across the UK is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Asset Management to lead a team of professionals. This is a senior leadership role, pivotal in driving the successful delivery of our construction and refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of asset management and project delivery functions across the business.
  • Project Delivery:Lead and manage the delivery of large-scale construction and refurbishment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Team Management:Inspire, mentor, and lead a team of project managers and asset managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, building codes, and health & safety standards. Proactively manage risks to minimize impact on project delivery.
  • Financial Oversight:Oversee budget management, cost control, and financial reporting for all projects within your remit.
  • Innovation & Sustainability:Drive the adoption of innovative solutions and sustainable practices in project delivery and asset management.
  • Asset Management:Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the property portfolio, ensuring assets are managed effectively and value is maximized.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional membership with RICS, CIOB, or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in project management and asset management, with a proven track record in leading large, complex projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction regulations, building codes, and health & safety standards.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
  • Financial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost control.
  • A forward-thinking mindset with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
