About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our close-knit team. As a key member of our operations team, you will support our Project Managers on various projects, developing your skills and expertise in project coordination, risk management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Project Managers, including coordinating project schedules, tracking progress, and managing risk.
- Oversee site-based Site Managers, dealing with day-to-day issues and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Compile and update project documentation, including CPHSPs and contract variations.
- Develop tender programs, track progress, and identify potential issues.
- Participate in weekly reviews of project progress, budget, and resourcing.
Requirements
- Good understanding of Microsoft Project programming software and standard Office software.
- Experience working in live environments, with the ability to travel to site 2-3 days per week.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
