Position Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the role of Environmental Administrator. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from £23,000 to £25,000 per annum along with an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
The Environmental Administrator will play a crucial role in managing Environment Agency permits related to wastewater discharges impacted by capital projects. Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning and organizing the environmental permitting process for engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Collecting and providing accurate site data to the Environment Agency for permit updates.
  • Offering technical support to project managers and the Environment Agency regarding project delivery and environmental water quality.
  • Tracking the delivery and annual sign-off of all Water Quality projects under the Water Industry National Environment Programme.
  • Maintaining accurate records related to environmental permitting for engineering projects.
  • Providing general support to the Environmental Permitting Team as required.

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • A minimum of A Level education or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Technical knowledge in wastewater or civil engineering.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate and track deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
