We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Administrator to enhance our efforts in managing environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our operations align with regulatory standards and contribute positively to the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the environmental permitting process for various engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Gather and analyze site data to support updates for discharge permits.
- Provide technical assistance to project managers, ensuring effective communication with regulatory bodies regarding environmental water quality.
- Monitor the progress and compliance of water quality projects under the National Environment Programme.
- Maintain accurate records related to environmental permits for engineering initiatives.
- Support the Environmental Permitting Team with various tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum educational qualification of A Level or equivalent.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Technical background in wastewater management or civil engineering.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Proficient in coordinating and tracking deliverables while providing regular updates.
- Excellent communication skills, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
