About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to lead our Cabin Cleaning team at London Heathrow Airport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and profitable operation of all Cabin Cleaning contracts, providing a professional and high-quality level of service to meet and exceed the specified requirements set out in the Contract/Service Level Agreements of all airlines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. General Duties:
    1. Investigate and implement quality management systems, conducting monthly quality assurance checks to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
    2. Manage the delivery of Cabin Cleaning Services, ensuring compliance, budgetary control, and continuous improvement.
    3. Performance manage team members against customer KPIs.
    4. Build strong relationships with customers to drive further business opportunities.
    5. Implement and observe good working practices, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and statutory regulations.
    6. Manage 3rd party resources working on behalf of ABM on the contract.
    7. Drive performance through initiatives and projects.
  2. Financial Management:
    1. Meet budgetary targets, monitoring finances daily and setting key objectives for the team.
  3. Administrative Duties:
    1. Respond to customer queries in a timely manner, setting work targets for lower management.
    2. Brief, de-brief, and train staff in line with operational requirements.
    3. Implement and maintain quality management systems, conducting monthly quality assurance checks.
    4. Recruit, select, and manage staff.
Requirements
  1. Relevant senior management experience within the Aviation sector, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  2. Dynamic leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to motivate a large workforce and meet customer needs.
  3. Presentation, communication, and planning skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
