Engaging Research Position

Newcastle University is on the lookout for a committed Research Assistant/Associate to contribute to our innovative research initiatives. This position focuses on conducting impactful studies related to palliative care for patients with multiple chronic conditions and investigating the support of spiritual well-being within primary healthcare settings. You will collaborate with a group of distinguished professionals in the field.

Primary Duties:

  • Executing research projects and performing data analysis
  • Securing necessary ethical approvals
  • Leading projects focused on evidence synthesis
  • Designing and implementing surveys
  • Recruiting and conducting interviews with study participants
  • Collaborating with field experts
  • Drafting reports for publication and presentation at conferences

Qualifications:

  • PhD or Master's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Experience in applied health research
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
