Job Overview

The Wales Medicines Strategy Group is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to lead the development and implementation of clinical services. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and clinical expertise to drive service improvement and excellence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Service Development: Provide strategic leadership and direction for the development and implementation of clinical services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Clinical Assessment and Management: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop management plans for patients, utilizing advanced knowledge and clinical skills.
  • Education and Mentorship: Provide education and mentorship to a multi-professional audience, promoting excellence in clinical practice and service delivery.
  • Policy and Service Development: Develop and implement clinical policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Demonstrate strong leadership and supervision skills, guiding and supporting teams to achieve service excellence.
Requirements
  • Education: Level 7 Education (Master's Degree) relevant to area of clinical practice.
  • Experience: Proven experience in clinical leadership, service development, and education/mentorship.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and supervision skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
