Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement strategies aimed at enhancing sustainability and mitigating the environmental consequences of energy projects.
  • Offer technical expertise for capital projects related to petrochemical facilities at various execution phases, including pre-feasibility, feasibility, and engineering.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and execute sustainable initiatives.
  • Employ simulation and modeling techniques to assess energy and material flows, utilities, and catalysts.
  • Gather, analyze, and report sustainability metrics to effectively track progress towards established objectives.
  • Assess and review the success of sustainability initiatives, providing recommendations for enhancements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, standards, and regulations pertinent to sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the petrochemical sector, including at least 5 years in operations and 5 years in an ESG-related role.
  • Preferred experience in the oil and energy domain.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with global sustainability standards and regulations.
