Project Controls Leadership Opportunity

Infraspec is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Project Controls to join our prestigious client, a leading provider of planning and project controls services across the Transport, Defence, Utilities & Construction sectors.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of project controls professionals and contribute to the development of internal project controls capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project controls, with experience in scheduling, cost engineering, risk, and change management.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a team of project controls staff to deliver client workload and achieve positive outcomes
  • Generating fee income through delivery on major projects
  • Ensuring the integrity of internal and external programmes
  • Contributing to the development of internal project controls professionals
  • Working with clients to develop their project controls teams, systems, and processes

Requirements for the role include:

  • Experience with project controls toolsets, including Earned Value Management, Risk, Change Control, and Primavera P6/MS Projects
  • Knowledge of programme/PMO integration within project delivery
  • Strong leadership skills and stakeholder management
  • Solid narrative skills for bid writing
  • Experience in infrastructure sectors, including civil engineering, construction, aviation, rail, and utilities
  • A degree qualification in engineering or a construction-related subject

This is a London-based hybrid working position with flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week. Salary is dependent on experience, with a range of £80K-£90K plus bonus and benefits package.
