About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Perinatal Community Mental Health service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with Consultant Psychiatrists, Consultant Clinical Psychologists, Therapies team, Case Managers, Social Workers, Peer Support Workers, Nursery Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Community Team Managers, and a Service Manager specialising in perinatal mental health.
Key Responsibilities
- Support staff with advice for duty calls during working hours and put in place appropriate actions to address identified risks.
- Ensure that any identified immediate risks are appropriately responded to and a proportionate risk management strategy is actioned, with input from the multidisciplinary team members.
- Keep up to date with relevant perinatal research and news to share with the wider team.
- Offer caseload supervision to case managers.
Requirements
- Extensive experience which has required supervision and mentorship of others.
- Extensive experience of practice within clinical area with proven track record in delivering high-quality care.
- Able to demonstrate sound clinical expertise and knowledge of mental health disorders and their treatments.
- Ability to travel to all Trust locations if required.
