Job Title: Clinical Training Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Training Specialist to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a Clinical Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical and non-clinical training to our staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff, including induction, new starter training, and ongoing professional development.
- Work with the Head of 111 Training and other stakeholders to devise, coordinate, and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our staff and patients.
- Provide clinical and operational input to training programs, ensuring they are relevant and effective.
- Deliver face-to-face workshops and online training sessions using MS Teams, including Pathways Core Module 1 and Adastra platform.
- Support and lead NHS Pathways release updates, soft skill, and technical training at site and across the Network.
- Coach and mentor staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Collaborate with Operational Trainers to support both Operational and Clinical colleagues in the Foundation Bay, actively coaching and mentoring, manning the Foundation Bay advice line, and recording activity to ensure robust development plans are in place.
Requirements:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
- Ability to analyze performance data.
- Understanding of call centre metrics and resource planning methods.
- Clinical/Call centre Management experience.
- NHS Pathways Trainer accreditation.
- High level of knowledge in handling of 111 patient calls.
- Professional and driven, yet communicative and highly approachable.
